If you’re looking for specialist 1-2-1 instruction from a qualified and experienced Ante/Postnatal Fitness and Pilates Expert who has worked with over 1,000 pregnant and postnatal women, then why not book a block of 1-2-1 Pilates sessions with Claire Mockridge!

Claire is a Postnatal Fitness and Pilates Instructor with over 10 years’ of experience in the fitness industry and a Train-the-Trainer/Fitness Presenter.

She is also a Restorative Exercise™ Specialist, a unique training method (with only a handful of people in the UK teaching it) which helps assess what areas of your body is tight and weak, getting you on the road to recovery, with the onus on YOU fixing yourself.

The benefits you will gain from individual, hands-on instruction are numerous.

Claire will guide you through each exercise, adding variety and challenge where necessary, to keep you wanting more.

Pilates and Resotative Exercise™ is an alignment-based, corrective form of exercise particularly beneficial for postnatal women to do, due to its focus on core and pelvic floor strength and re-alignment of poor posture.

In your first appointment, Claire will make a full assessment of your posture, test your core/pelvic floor function and do the all important “rec-check” which assesses your abdominal re-alignment.

Claire will set you a personal program to follow, complete with take home Worksheets, which will help re-align your posture, strengthen and relieve tension in weak and tight muscles, and slowly and safely return your body to its pre-pregnancy state.

Motherhood places several demands, not just emotionally on the mother, but also physically on a postnatal woman’s body, and it is vitally important that you seek specialist instruction, should you wish to start an exercise regime.

There won’t be a sit-up in sight on your program, and Claire will educate and empower you on what exercises are safe and effective to perform postnatally, how to look after yourself now that baby has arrived, and important practical movements such as lifting and carrying your baby and optimal feeding positions etc.

Booking/Cost

1-2-1 sessions are paid for in blocks of 5 sessions (£80 per session) and must be paid for upfront, and used within a timeframe agreed by both parties.
